"We in Kansas know that storm disasters can happen anywhere," says Bishop Scott Jones. With the connectional system in the United Methodist church, however, we know that when one church or community suffers, we can all respond. Recently, a tornado caused extensive damage in Chapman. Watch this video to see how you can be a part of the United Methodist response to this disaster.

Terry Mayhew was asked to become the pastor of Greensburg UMC the day before the tornado destroyed the town. Despite the devastation and the new challenges that pastoring the church would bring, he accepted the appointment and has been serving at the church since September.
