The 2013 Kansas West Annual Conference will be May 22-24 at the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson. (Download a map.) The conference theme will be "Moving Forward/Looking Back." The featured speakers will be retired Bishop Richard Wilke, Retired Bishop Bruce Blake, Rev. Jim Reed, and Great Plains Area Bishop Scott Jones. Read more about the speakers.

Conference members, both clergy and lay, are invited to send prayers of praise and thanksgiving to bless our worship at Annual Conference. Each member is asked to share prayers around one or more of the three following themes:

As we move toward our becoming the Great Plains Conference, all three conferences are requesting a three to five ounce container of water from every church to be brought to their respective annual conference. On the afternoon of May 24 please bring your container to our Closing Worship Service where the water will be poured into a common vessel. The common vessel from each of the three conferences will be presented at our Uniting Conference in August.
