The Hutchinson District is located in the center of the Kansas West Annual Conference and comprises 64 churches in eight central Kansas counties. Congregations vary in size from rural, small-membership churches to large, city churches, all seeking to be faithful to the challenge of making disciples.
Within the boundaries of our district, three vital United Methodist institutions provide caring ministries to others. These institutions include Wesley Towers retirement community in Hutchinson, Asbury Park retirement community in Newton and United Methodist Youthville in Newton.
In these changing times, we, the United Methodist Churches of the Hutchinson District, are seeking to embody our vision statement of "being vital churches with purpose and passion."
Sharing the Journey,
Rick Saylor, Hutchinson District superintendent
