GraceMed Health Clinic

GraceMed Health Clinic annually serves more than 32,000 people in the Wichita area who have no other access to medical care. With clinic locations throughout Wichita, this ministry of the United Methodist Church brings affordable health care to the segment of the population least likely to be able to afford quality care at a hospital or clinic.

The health clinic offers preventive care as well as care for chronic illnesses, well baby checks, pap smears, prostate checks, Kan Be Healthy exams, immunizations, INS physicals, diabetes education and monitoring, referrals for services not provided at the clinic, assistance with medications, electrocardiograms and school and sports physicals.

In addition to the family practice medical care, the clinic offers dental care.

The clinic was started as an extension of the United Methodist Urban Ministry program. However, the clinic was split from Urban Ministry in the early 1990s to allow the clinic to receive federal reimbursement money for patients seen at the clinic.
