If my district committee is meeting close to the deadline to decide my status, should I submit an application?

Note on your form that you are expecting to meet with your district committee and when. How are financial assistance awards computed?
Awards are calculated based on the number of hours in which the student is enrolled. The amount of the award per credit hour may vary from session to session due to the amount of money available through the conference's portion of the Ministerial Education Fund and the total number of credit hours eligible for award.
Students enrolled in an accredited seminary that is not United Methodist will receive half the amount of scholarship/grant awarded to students attending accredited United Methodist seminaries.
How will the committee know how many hours I am taking if I change my enrollment after I complete the enrollment form?
The committee will contact seminary registrars after the sessions begin each semester/quarter to confirm the number of hours a student is taking. After the session is complete and before awards are made for the next session, the committee will contact the seminary registrar to confirm completion of the hours from the previous session and verify enrollment for the new session.
