Hunger Sunday special offering

Kansas West churches are asked to observe Hunger Sunday Nov. 1 and take a special offering. 

The proceeds will be divided among United Methodist Open Door, United Methodist Mexican American Ministries and the Haiti Hot Lunch Program.

Open Door is serving a larger number of clients each month.

United Methodist Mexican American Ministries play a vital role in the health and well-being of Southwest Kansas residents.

The Haiti Hot Lunch Program is vital to the health and safety of many school children.

Place donations payable to the local church in the offering plate. On the memo line, write "Hunger Sunday.”
